This is the day

that the Lord has made! We will rejoice and be glad in it! Even when we have a healthy house full of bundles of energy or a family member who is sick and dying. We will choose to love and honor Him today, with hearts full of joy and peace. I began a Daniel study by Beth Moore and it's been amazing. Just amazing. I love that God is faithful to His word even when it's bad news. The first half of the study is about Daniel and his resolve in the Babylonian culture and indoctrination (like us here!) and the second half is about end times prophecy. I haven't been in a formal study in nearly 2 years, so I'm loving getting out every tuesday night. If you're looking for a new study, I highly recommend this challenging look at the book of Daniel...

We've had so much going on recently. Probably the biggest news is about Viktoriya! Toriya is Annah's older (by 10 months) sister and she is going to be coming to live with us, perhaps even permanently. We'll pretty much have two sets of twins. We're very excited to be welcoming her into our family. Please pray as Viktoriya faces change and new challenges of moving.

We prayed and God answered. We had very key people in our life tell us that they thought we could do it (7 kids) in His strength. AND one very important prayer was answered solidly...we needed a big reliable vehicle...our suburban is too small! God is amazing especially when we see Him work through the lives of His people.

We got an excellent deal on this HUGE van.... It's a 15 passenger Ford E-350 2008 with only 7k miles! It's so clean and there will be NO eating in this van. {any wagers on how long that will last? I'm serious this time!!!}

We'll take the last row out to fit the dog and stroller, making it an 11 passenger. So we'll have two extra seats for friends. ;o) We tried to get a smaller 12 passenger but there was NO storage room behind that last row and we have a huge dog, you know?
This is the coolest part! No more lifting a twin over a seat to separate the boys and it's so cool that they can walk straight back to their seats! No more trying to struggling and manuevering to try to get the double stroller in the door onto a seat. Whew, that will be nice! Chad will be heading to Spokane via train with Ethan to pick it up tonite!! *updated to add, he is home safely! He drove all night instead of staying in a hotel and the van is awesome*

I am so happy for you all, and especially for Annah and Viktoriya! Our two little girls that we adopted are bio-sisters and are less than a year apart. It's so hard to imagine them not being together--they are so close! God is good all the time! And it's so exciting to see how He provides when you step out in faith! Blessings to you all!
